Aye.
―By Bluss’ votes in favor of Mina Bonteri’s Confederate-Republic peace initiative[2]

By Bluss was a Leyakian[1] senator who held office in the Separatist Parliament during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2] In 21 BBY,[3] Bluss was present on the Separatist capital planet Raxus Secundus, where they opposed[2] senator of[4] the planet[5] Onderon[4] Mina Bonteri’s motion for peace between the Confederacy and the Republic. When prompted by Count Dooku, leader of the Confederacy, Bluss voted aye. Bonteri’s initiative received a majority vote in its favor and was passed on to the Republic’s Galactic Senate, who denied the peace treaty. Bluss had yellowish-brown skin and yellow eyes. Their Separatist Parliament outfit was white with red and black accents.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

By Bluss appeared in “Heroes on Both Sides,”[2] the tenth episode in the third season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, which released on November 19, 2010.[6] The senator was first identified by name in the accompanying StarWars.com Episode Guide, which released on the same day.[7]
The senator’s species was identified in the “Concept Art Gallery” for the Episode Guide for “The Disappeared, Part I,” the eighth episode of the show’s sixth season. Despite appearing in concept art made for the episode, By Bluss’ appearance did not materialize in the final product.[1]
