In my opinion, suicide in the Star Wars universe doesn’t have any distinct quality that differs from the term’s real-world dictionary definition. But more importantly, these pages—which are essentially glorified lists of details about every instance of suicide in Star Wars—are both out of our scope and, if not covered carefully, have the potential to negatively influence our readers who are struggling with mental health (for further reading: [1] [2]). In short, I think keeping the main [[Suicide]] page as a redirect to Death for navigation purposes and deleting the Legends counterpart would be a better approach going forward. 2. yeah it’s really weird to have a list of every time someone committed suicide or considered it, especially if like half of those are just soldiers choosing to stand and fight when they know they’ll die, which isn’t really suicide per se. Fan26 (Talk) 03:55, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
