Reflecting on our Impact – Center for STEM Education

Interested in learning more about what we do at Northeastern University’s College of Engineering Michael B. Silevitch and Claire J. Duggan Center for STEM Education?

Our mission statement is to seek to build and support a community of educators, researchers, and students, with the collective goal of strengthening the K-20 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) educational ecosystem.

Take a look at the Summer 2024 edition of The Brief: Engineering for a Global Impact at Northeastern University — K-20 STEM Educational Ecosystem. Within, you will find many compelling articles discussing aspects of STEM education across the K-20 spectrum, several of which directly involve the Center for STEM Education.

Additionally, we recently had a renaming and dedication event during which “public school community members, alumni, faculty, staff, students, and Northeastern leadership recognized the impact made on a countless number of students for more than 35 years.” Read more of the article from where this excerpt came here. You may also be interested in watching a short video from the event.
