Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is an AR experience created by a joint effort by Disney and Lenovo. It has some canonical elements such as planets and Force powers.^[3] It was announced during D23 2017, and features three different modes: Lightsaber battle, Holochess, and Strategic Combat.

A Dark Side expansion was released in November 2018. It focuses on lightsaber combat, and allows the player to assume the role of Kylo Ren. A combat strategy mode—”Ship Battles”—was also included with this update, in which the player can command a ship for either the Rebellion or the Empire.^[4]
